TFC's Kobe Franklin dealing with season's ebbs and flows
A regular starter for Toronto FC just two years ago, the young fullback now finds himself glued to the bench. But he isn't fussed.

A footballer’s career comes with highs and lows, but it’s how you climb back to the top when you’re down that ultimately counts the most.
Few at Toronto FC know this better than Kobe Franklin.
A regular starter for TFC just two years ago, the young fullback now finds himself glued to the bench, patiently biding his time while waiting for an opportunity to play under first-year coach Robin Fraser.
"I like Kobe a lot. But the fact of the matter is, we can only play 11 guys, and we can only play certain guys, and can only play one guy in each position. So, it's not really a slight on him; it's sometimes you just have to keep playing well and wait for your opportunity,” Fraser said in April.
