Last week's stalemate at Stade Saputo showed that Toronto FC has a lot to work on following a two-month hiatus from MLS.
TFC battled to a 0-0 draw vs. CF Montreal in their first match since late May when the league shut down for this summer's FIFA World Cup. Toronto looked sloppy in possession throughout the game and lacked a genuine cutting edge in attack as they didn't register a single shot on target vs. the bitter rivals.
