TFC faces a daunting task on Saturday when they take on Charlotte in the third match of a four-game road swing.
CHARLOTTE – Time is running out on Toronto FC.
Although TFC is not yet mathematically eliminated from the playoff race, their post-season chances are hanging by a thread after last week's shutout loss away to Nashville SC.
Another tough road test awaits the Reds this weekend against Charlotte FC, the third match of a four-game road swing. After this weekend only 10 games remain on the schedule, so they don't have a lot of time to make up ground in the Eastern Conference.
"Charlotte's on Saturday; it's pointless thinking beyond that," midfielder Matty Longstaff said.
