Taking a look at Toronto FC's roster salaries for this season

Taking a look at Toronto FC's roster salaries for this season

Late last month, the MLS Players Association publicly revealed the wages for all of its players for the 2025 season.

With that in mind, TFC Republic decided to look at the numbers, examining every player's pay packet and salary cap hit.

A few things to keep in mind about this list.

MLS squads are divided into two categories: the senior and supplemental roster.

Up to 20 players, occupying roster slots 1-20, count against the league's salary cap of $5,950,000 US in 2025. These players are collectively known as the senior roster. The supplemental roster (slots 21-30) is made up of additional players, including senior minimum salary players, homegrown players, and Generation adidas players. Supplemental roster players don't count against the salary cap.

We didn't include players who are on loan (Adam Pearlman, Hugo Mbongue and Casssius Mailula), players who've spent this entire season with TFC 2 (Adisa De Rosario and Nathaniel Edwards) and players no longer with the team (Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi).

The recent buyouts of Insigne and Bernardeschi means TFC doesn't have any Designated Players on their roster. Players signed with Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) carry a salary cap hit of $743,750 (the league maximum), even though they earn more than that amount.

All salaries are listed in US dollars.

Here we go....
