Michael Bradley looks forward to BMO Field return as Red Bulls coach
"I gave everything I had in my time in Toronto, from the second I got there until the second I left," TFC's former captain said.
BMO Field was the site of some of Michael Bradley's greatest on-field triumphs.
It's where Canadian Championships were won, an MLS Cup was hoisted, and countless memorable victories were secured by Toronto FC over the years, more often than not with Bradley at the centre of it all.
The former TFC captain was a major reason behind the club's success during its glory period, revered among the team's loyal supporters for the way he spearheaded the transformation of the Reds from one of the worst clubs in MLS to a league superpower.
When Bradley retired at the conclusion of the 2023 season, the hope amongst TFC fans was that he'd be back at BMO Field some day and that they'd get to see him again before too long. That day finally comes on Saturday when Toronto hosts the New York Red Bulls in its home opener (1:00 p.m. ET/TSN & Apple TV).
