A Toronto FC side who endured a horrible few weeks that included a premature exit from the Canadian Championship bounced back in a big way with a historic 6-1 win over archrivals CF Montreal at Stade Saputo on Saturday.
It was exactly the type of result and performance that TFC desperately needed, one that coach Robin Fraser hopes the team can build upon.
"The biggest thing for me is commitment. And from the very beginning we looked like we were up for it. ... We need the entire group. And what I want them to remember from today is the commitment level that we had from the very beginning," Fraser told reporters after the game.
