Toronto FC vs. New England Revolution: What you need to know
TFC goes into battle with its Eastern Conference rival on Saturday rather short-handed while looking to regain a bit of momentum.

Losers of two straight games, Toronto FC will try to get back on track this weekend at home where they haven't had much luck for the past seven months.
TFC is coming off a midweek loss to CF Montreal at BMO Field, a result that booted them from the Canadian Championship in the first round. Prior to that, they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of New York City FC in MLS play at home. The Reds are winless in eight consecutive home games and haven’t won at BMO Field since earning a 2-1 decision over Austin FC on Sept. 14, 2024, when John Herdman was still in charge.
"We have a lot of soccer left. We have a lot of our season left. We can turn our season around. But the mentality needs to be one that, it's easy to say, but we need to get to a point where we don't lose at home. We refuse to lose at home," coach Robin Fraser said after the Montreal loss.
Here’s what you need to know about Saturday's contest between Toronto and the New England Revolution at BMO Field (4:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).
