The Canadian men’s team’s preparation for this summer’s FIFA World Cup has shifted into high gear.

Players started arriving in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday ahead of the team’s special training camp that will run until May 29, the same day that coach Jesse Marsch will officially announce his 26-man World Cup roster.

Thirty-two players are expected to be in Charlotte, including Toronto FC’s Richie Laryea and Jonathan Osorio, as well as captain Alphonso Davies, who has recently been sidelined by injuries with Bayern Munich. Six extra training players will also be part of the camp.
