Dunfield left Toronto FC after the 2024 MLS season

Former Canadian international Terry Dunfield has landed his first head coaching gig more than two years after his stint at helm of Toronto FC came to an end.

Dunfield, a 44-year-old native of Vancouver, was announced as the new manager of Pacific FC on Thursday, signing a contract through the 2027 Canadian Premier League season with an option for 2028. He becomes Pacific's fourth manager since its debut campaign in 2019, replacing James Merriman who left the club last week after the two sides agreed to a mutual termination of his contract.
