Confessions of a TFC beat reporter: What it was like covering Michael Bradley

It's the end of an era at Toronto FC.

Captain Michael Bradley announced on Tuesday his plans to retire at the end of this season, calling time on his tenure at TFC after 10 seasons and a 19-year career as a professional.

Bradley, 36, won multiple trophies with the Reds, including one MLS Cup (2017), one Supporters’ Shield (2017) and four Canadian Championships (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020). Bradley scored 19 goals in 308 appearances in all competitions for TFC and is the club's all-time leader in starts (303) in all competitions and will go down as the most important player in franchise history.

In the latest TFC Republic video blog, I share my personal memories of covering Michael Bradley for the past decade, what my relationship was like with TFC's iconic captain over the years, and much more.

NOTE: TFC Republic will have much more on Michael Bradley's retirement decision throughout this week.
