And then there were two.

After a long an gruelling campaign, the CPL Final goes this weekend and pits two familiar foes against one another: Forge FC vs. Cavalry FC.

The Hamilton- and Calgary-based clubs finished first and second in the 2023 regular season table and have met before for the Canadian Premier League championship, with Forge winning the two-legged final in 2019.

Both teams have already qualified for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup, formerly known as the Champions League, so all they're fighting for this weekend is league bragging rights. That should make the game even more intense, especially for a Cavalry side looking to win its first CPL title.

Here’s what you need to know about Saturday's CPL Final between Forge and Cavalry at Hamilton's Tim Hortons Field (6:00 p.m. ET/OneSoccer).
