Bob Bradley isn't the least bit interested in settling scores even though it's been over three years since he was unceremoniously fired by Toronto FC.

When TFC Republic reached out to the iconic American coach about the possibility of doing an interview, it most certainly wasn't presented to him as a chance for him to fire back at those who took shots at him within the organization during his tenure as head coach and sporting director of Toronto FC.

Nonetheless, the interview request, which Bradley accepted, did provide him with an opportunity to address many things, including reports at the time by TFC Republic and other media outlets that many people – namely, Italian DPs Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi – actively tried to undermine him and get him fired. But Bradley didn’t see the need in doing so.

"I'm not going to go backwards," Bradley bluntly stated.

Still, Bradley, now 68 and living in his native New Jersey with his wife Lindsay, had plenty to say during a nearly hour-long discussion with TFC Republic.

Bradley hasn't publicly spoken about his time at Toronto FC in any significant way since being fired in the summer of 2023. But in this exclusive one-on-one interview with TFC Republic, Bradley discussed why his tenure at Toronto FC was cut short, his relationships with the Italian DPs and former club president Bill Manning, what he's been doing so he left Norwegian club Stabæk Fotball in 2024, and much more.
