October 3, 2025: Kapor inked to a homegrown player deal
Toronto FC has signed defender Stefan Kapor to an MLS contract as a homegrown player through 2029 with a club option for 2030. He will join Toronto's roster when his contract becomes effective on Jan 1, 2026.
Quick analysis: This latest roster move doesn't come as a surprise as Kapor was considered among the brightest prospects in the Toronto FC youth system.
“We are thrilled to promote Stefan to the first team and continue our journey together in his young career. Stef has been an exceptional young prospect within our club, and we look forward to his continued growth with us in a professional capacity," GM Jason Hernandez said in a media release.
