CanMNT Talk: Pros and cons from latest FIFA window

The Canadian men's team capped off the latest FIFA international window with a disappointing 1-0 loss to the United States on Tuesday in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The defeat preceded a pair of shutout wins over Chile (1-0 in Toronto) and Peru (2-0 in Montreal), which were Canada's first matches since this summer's FIFA World Cup.
“My message to the team was that the performance [during this window] was good. It was like a seven and a half, maybe pushing toward an eight, right? But we still lack conviction and lack personality on the pitch and lack communication and control of all moments,” coach Jesse Marsch said after Tuesday’s defeat.
