Fresh off seeing its seven-game unbeaten run ended, Toronto FC will try to start a new streak this week in order to rejuvenate its playoff hopes.
Last Saturday's 3-0 loss away to Orlando City marked the first time TFC tasted defeat since July 25. Things don't get any easier on Saturday as the Reds play the second of three consecutive road games when they face St. Louis City SC, a club that's riding a 15-match unbeaten run in MLS.
"I think it's one really bad game today with a lot of unlucky situations, but it's zero points. We have to work on it and we have to go next week again," midfielder Niklas Dorsch said after the Orlando loss.
