TFC quarterly report: Where do things stand with the Reds?

A lot has happened at Toronto FC since mid-July when it passed the official midway point of the 2026 MLS regular season.
New players have come in for Toronto. The lengthy injury list has significantly dwindled. The Reds returned to BMO Field for the first time in over three months. And most importantly, TFC have fought their way back into the playoff race, improving their chances of ending a post-season drought that dates to 2020.
How did Toronto get to this point? And where does it go from here?
