Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty eager to make his mark for Canada
In a 1-on-1 interview, the ex-TFC wingback talks about being recalled by Canada, the chance to earn his first cap, and much more.

Unable to get regular playing time with CF Montreal at the start of this season, Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty has thrived since going on loan at Charlotte FC, playing an important role in helping the Crown climb to third place in the Eastern Conference.
Marshall-Rutty, a 21-year-old from Brampton, Ont., has three assists in 19 MLS games (15 starts) and has flourished in Charlotte while being deployed as a fullback, a position that the natural wingback first played at Toronto FC under former coach Bob Bradley.
The TFC youth academy graduate has done so well in Charlotte that he's earned his first call-up with the Canadian men’s team since 2021. If all goes well, Marshall-Rutty could earn his first cap vs. Wales in Tuesday’s friendly in Swansea.
In this one-on-one interview with TFC Republic, Marshall-Rutty talks about being recalled by Canada, his national team aspirations, and much more.
