TFC Talk: Dissecting Armas' 'controversial' comments

In the first edition of TFC Republic video blog, I talk about Toronto FC coach Chris Armas' "controversial" post-match comments from the Reds' 3-2 loss to Orlando City.

Armas was asked why his team keeps making such critical defensive errors, and he sidestepped the question, replying:

"I saw my team fight tonight, and we dug ourselves holes. But I don’t really want to talk about why those things happened. They’re happening. You asked the question, but I think you can see what happened."

That answer caused quite a stir on social media with the team's supporters, but Armas didn't say what he said, as some fans have suggested, out of arrogance. It was more a matter of him not wanting to throw any of his players under the bus.
