After what seemed like a long off-season, Toronto FC kicks its the 2022 MLS campaign on Saturday with a road game against FC Dallas.

The 2022 MLS campaign is going to be hugely important for Toronto FC after its disastrous 2021 season. The club made a series of major changes this winter, starting with the exits of former GM Ali Curtis and interim coach Javier Perez, and bringing in Bob Bradley who will assume both roles. Long-time TFC stalwarts Jozy Altidore, Mark Delgado and Richie Laryea are gone, as are former DP Yeferson Soteldo and Omar Gonzalez.
A slew of newcomers has been added to the overhauled roster, most notably Italian international Lorenzo Insigne, who will join the club in the summer. The defence has been retooled, with Mexican international and new Carlos Salcedo expected to anchor a back line that coughed up a franchise-high 66 goals last year.
