These are desperate times for Toronto FC.

Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to St. Louis City SC means Toronto (3-10-10) has lost five in a row and is winless in eight games, with its last victory coming on May 27. The Reds sit 14th in the Eastern Conference (out of 15 teams), five spots and seven points behind CF Montreal who hold down the ninth and final playoff berth in the East.
