State of the Union: Jason Hernandez, Terry Dunfield take over at Toronto FC

The makeover at Toronto FC continued Tuesday as assistant GM Jason Hernandez was promoted to GM on a full-time basis.

Bill Manning made the announcement during a press conference, the first time TFC's president spoke to the media since the firing of former coach and sporting director Bob Bradley on Monday.

There was plenty of news to come out on the media availability, as Manning talked about the search for a new full-time coach and Hernandez explained how one of his immediate priorities is to sign Richie Laryea. Interim coach Terry Dunfield also spoke to reporters, saying he wants to bring greater "tactical clarity" to the squad.

(NOTE: I'll have a full-length, in-depth feature story on Bill Manning on Wednesday. I'll also have more analysis pieces on Bob Bradley's departure throughout this week).
