In the latest instalment of the TFC Republic video blog, I look back at Justin Morrow's tenure with the Reds and discuss just how important of a player he was for the club.
Last week, Morrow announced his plans to retire at the end of the 2021 MLS season after eight campaigns in Toronto. Morrow admitted he was more than a little afraid for his career in 2013 when he was traded from the San Jose Earthquakes, as he was joining a last-placed team mired in chaos.
But things worked out well for both sides in the end, as Morrow helped turn TFC into a MLS powerhouse that won the MLS Cup in 2017 and reached two other finals.
In the below video, I discuss Morrow's legacy and outline why he was one of the club's most important and influential players.
