We're nine matches into the 34-game MLS regular season – just over one-fourth of the way through the campaign – so it's a good time to examine how things have gone so far for Toronto FC under second-year coach Robin Fraser.

What a difference 12 months makes for Toronto FC

It's not an exaggeration to suggest that Toronto FC is in a much better place now than it was one year ago.

The Reds began their 2026 season on a very rocky note with a pair of road losses, conceding three goals in each match, before earning a credible 1-0 win away to FC Cincinnati on March 8. The club's first ever win at TQL Stadium proved to be a bit of a turning point.
