Toronto FC win will set a new mark for longest winless streak in all competitions in a single year with a loss or draw on Saturday.

TFC trying to avoid going 14 games without a win 

Toronto FC's winning woes this season have been well documented, but it bears repeating one more time. 

TFC are winless in 12 consecutive league matches – 13 in all competitions – and haven’t tasted victory since earning a 3-2 home decision over the Colorado Rapids on April 4. The Reds have suffered six losses during that string of 13 matches, which includes an upset defeat to Atlético Ottawa in the preliminary round of the Canadian Championship. 

As bad as that sounds, Robin Fraser's side is on the verge of setting a new club record for futility, according to MLS stats guru Martyn Bailey
