No official word as to the extent of the injury

Niklas Dorsch confirmed on Thursday morning via Instagram that he suffered a facial fracture in Wednesday's 3-3 draw vs. Charlotte FC at BMO Field.

"Big fight yesterday from the Team! Unfortunately, I suffered a facial fracture. I’ll be back soon," the German wrote in a post.

Dorsch, 28, didn't offer any specific details as to how long he might be sidelined for with this injury. A club spokesperson responded to TFC Republic's message asking for a comment by saying that coach Robin Fraser should have an update on Dorsch on Friday when he speaks to the media ahead of Saturday's road match vs. Inter Miami.
