Here we go....

Is it normal to sign a player who is not fit? It seems like we spent a good chunk of money to get Nelson Palacio, and he has not even played yet. He is so young too; it just does not seem to make sense. What is your take on this and is this sometimes a normal thing to do for teams to sign unfit conditioning players?

– T.T.

Nelson Palacio has yet to make his MLS debut for TFC since being acquired in early July in a cash-for-player trade with Real Salt Lake

In exchange for the Colombian midfielder, who will occupy a U-22 Initiative roster slot during the this season, Salt Lake received $1.1 million US and up to $550,000 in conditional cash if certain performance-based metrics are met. Palacio had been on loan at FC Zürich in the Swiss league since last summer.
