Toronto FC earned its most impressive victory of the season this weekend with a 2-1 decision over Inter Miami.

TFC earned their first ever road win over Miami in seven games and more importantly moved up one spot to 10th in the Eastern Conference, tied on points with Orlando City who hold down the ninth and final playoff berth with 13 games remaining in the regular season.

With its next three games at BMO Field, Toronto has a golden opportunity to climb above the playoff line as the campaign heads into the home stretch.

"This is a massive away win and obviously a massive week for us. I think we just got to take our time now to recover and shift our focus to these next three games and maximizing our play potential and getting those wins at home in front of our fans and giving them what they deserve," fullback Kobe Franklin said.

Here are my three major takeaways from Saturday's match.
