Some random thoughts I had on Toronto FC as it prepares for Saturday's home game vs. CF Montreal (7:30 p.m. ET/TSN & Apple TV).

Toronto-Montreal derby isn't what it used to be

Toronto FC and CF Montreal will square off for the third time this year on the weekend when they meet at BMO Field.

Montreal earned a penalty shootout win in Toronto in April in the first round of the Canadian Championship to bounce the Reds from the competition. TFC exacted a measure of revenge the following month with a 6-1 win at Stade Saputo in MLS play.
