The Toronto FC vs. CF Montreal rivalry isn't what it used to be with both clubs stuck near the bottom of the Eastern Conference table.
Be that as it may, the Canadian rivals will clash for the final time this weekend with nothing more than derby bragging rights on the line. TFC have drawn three in a row and are winless in their last five matches with their previous victory coming in a 1-0 road decision over San Diego FC on July 16.
"I think there are real feelings and real passion when it comes to Montreal versus Toronto, and I've been a part of some unbelievable games between both teams that are completely fuelled by passion," coach Robin Fraser said.
"I think there's a lot at stake with regard to [pride], but then there's a lot at stake. We need points. They need points."
