July 28, 2026: German midfielder set to join the Reds
Toronto FC reached a transfer agreement for German midfielder Niklas Dorsh from FC Heidenheim 1846 of Germany's second division. Dorsh will join the Reds through the 2030-31 MLS season.
Quick analysis: GM Jason Hernandez made his intentions very clear before the MLS summer transfer window opened when he said the central midfield was an area he was looking to bolster on his roster.
The addition of German midfielder Niklas Dorsch should help significantly strengthen the middle of the park for TFC.
