The Canadian men's team sits 30th in the FIFA world rankings, 20 spots above Uzbekistan, which will make its World Cup debut this summer.

But it was the visitors who carried the bulk of play and looked far more dangerous in the first half of Monday's international friendly at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium before 46,164 fans.

Canada made wholesale changes at halftime and dominated the second half en route to a 2-0 win in its penultimate World Cup tune-up.
