TFC Republic goes back in time in looking back at all 19 of Toronto FC's home openers dating back to 2007.
Toronto FC has nine wins, seven losses and two draws in 18 all-time MLS home openers, not including when it opened the 2021 season in Florida with a 2-2 stalemate vs. the Vancouver Whitecaps.
TFC's previous win in their home opener came in a 1-0 decision over Charlotte FC on March 9, 2024, courtesy of an 80th-minute goal from Lorenzo Insigne.
With Toronto set to host the New York Red Bulls this weekend in its first match of the 2026 campaign at BMO Field, TFC Republic looks back at the history of the club's home openers.
