An injury has ruled out Jonathan Osorio for the Canadian men's team's upcoming Copa América qualifier.

Canada Soccer announced on Sunday that Osorio won't play against Trinidad and Tobago, and that he's been replaced in interim coach Mauro Biello's squad by FC Dallas midfielder Liam Fraser.

Osorio, 31, was originally named to Biello's 23-man roster last week for Canada's match vs. the Soca Warriors on March 23 at Toyota Park in Frisco, Texas.

But Toronto FC's captain picked up a hip injury this week and as a precaution he was kept out of John Herdman's lineup for Saturday's road game, a 2-1 loss to New York City FC.
