Marko Stojadinovic’s tenure in the Canadian Premier League turned out to be very short as TFC 2 announced on Thursday it has signed the midfielder to an MLS NEXT Pro contract.

Stojadinovic parted ways with TFC 2 at the end of the 2025 season after having his contract option declined by the club, and he ended up signing a two-year deal (with an option for 2028) with Atlético Ottawa last December.

But he only made five appearances across all competitions for Ottawa, including one as an injury time substitute vs. Toronto FC in a Canadian Championship match at BMO Field earlier this month.

Stojadinovic, a 22-year-old from Caledon, Ont., will be added to TFC 2's roster pending league and federation approval.
