MLS NEXT Pro has made great strides since its launch in 2022.
Major League Soccer's official developmental league began with 21 teams but has since grown to 29 – and five more teams will join MLS NEXT Pro by 2027.
Above all else, MLS NEXT Pro is a developmental league, a place where youth academy products and young players can cut their teeth and enhance their skills in hopes of landing a first-team contract with an MLS club.
Last month, MLS NEXT Pro announced it reached a special milestone: 200 MLS first-team signings since its formation three years ago. At the time of the announcement, Toronto FC ranked third in the league with the most signings (12), behind FC Dallas (15) and St. Louis City SC (14). Since then, the number of TFC 2 graduates has ballooned to 13.
In light of MLS NEXT Pro's achievement, let's look at the 13 players who have made the jump from TFC 2 to Toronto FC.
