What's next for Toronto FC now that the season is over?
"We’ve had moments all year that give me hope going into next year. But it’s going to take more than hope," Robin Fraser said.
So, now what for Toronto FC?
Where do TFC go from here now that the 2026 season is in the books following a brutal 4-1 road loss to the Philadelphia Union?
Saturday’s defeat at Subaru Park to the playoff-bound Union confirmed that Toronto (9-13-12, 39 points) finished 12th in the Eastern Conference for a second year in a row.
TFC improved upon its 32-point and six-win totals from 2025, suggesting that some very modest progress was made over the past 12 months.
