Veteran fullback has played just 10 minutes since July
When Toronto FC claimed Raheem Edwards off waivers prior to the start of the 2026 campaign season it marked a homecoming of sorts for the veteran fullback.
Edwards was a member of TFC’s “treble-winning” team in 2027 in his first full MLS season, but he left just days after the club won the MLS Cup as he was selected by LAFC in the 2017 Expansion Draft and was then immediately traded to the Montreal Impact (now known as CF Montreal). In total, Edwards had one goal and eight assists in 27 appearances in all competitions for Toronto.
