2025 in review: Uncertainty for Toronto FC at start of season

In part 1 of our special "Toronto FC year in review for 2025" series, TFC Republic looks back at the month of February. 

While Toronto FC had plenty of (misguided?) hope at the start of the MLS campaign, there was also a lot of uncertainty hanging over the club prior to the new season kicking off. 

Robin Fraser was only hired in January and had only been working with the team for a little over a month. GM Jason Hernandez was still filling out the roster right up until the Reds' opening game. And questions lingered about Italian DP Lorenzo Insigne's future. 

Let's take a stroll down memory lane and review the month that was February 2025 for Toronto FC.
