Down a goal deep into injury time, TFC managed to score with one of the last kicks of the game to salvage a 2-2 stalemate vs. the Chicago Fire at Soldier Field on Saturday night.
This latest result marked TFC's league-record extending eighth consecutive draw, while it also extended the club's winless run to 10 games – their previous victory came in a 1-0 decision away to San Diego FC on July 16.
"Mixed feelings. We want to win and at the end of the day that's what you play football for ... and what ultimately is going to bring you championships and get you closer to the top of the table. So, of course, every time we finish a game and it's another tie where we're not content with that and the locker room, you can sense a sense of frustration if you will, in terms of getting so close to turning things around and start producing wins," midfielder Alonso Coello said.
