The beat goes on for Toronto FC even though it’s been eliminated from playoff contention.
Last weekend's 1-1 draw away to the New England Revolution officially knocked out TFC (5-13-11) from the post-season race with five games remaining in the MLS campaign. The stalemate at Gillette Stadium also marked the Reds' fifth consecutive draw and extended their winless run to seven matches, with their previous victory coming in 1-0 road decision vs. San Diego FC on July 16.
