Reader mailbag: Will Jonathan Osorio return for TFC in 2027?
The veteran should still have a role with the club beyond this year, but younger midfielders must also be given more opportunities.

How do you think Deandre Kerr will be remembered by TFC fans?
– Brian P.
In case you missed it this week, Toronto FC moved forward Deandre Kerr to AVS Futebol SAD of Portugal's second division on a permanent transfer. TFC retains a future sell-on percentage as part of the transfer deal
Kerr, a 23-year-old from Ajax, Ont., was out of contract at the end of 2026 with no option so the fact that Toronto was able to get a transfer fee (and a sell-on percentage) for a player who could have walked for free in a few months is a pretty good piece of business. And from the sounds of it, it wasn't a case of TFC shopping Kerr around; rather this transfer deal arose because AVS Futebol SAD inquired about him.
