Why in your opinion did it not work out for Ola Brynhildsen in MLS?

In case you missed it this week, Toronto FC and forward Ola Brynhildsen mutually agreed to an early loan termination, effectively immediately.
Brynhildsen was originally signed to a year-long loan deal in February and Toronto had the option to sign him to a permanent contract once his loan was over. Instead, TFC cut their losses after the Norwegian's poor showing in MLS.
