Toronto FC posts upset win vs. league leaders Nashville SC

TORONTO – It was another comeback effort by Toronto FC, but this time it led to a much-needed victory.
Dániel Sallói’s second-half equalizer cancelled out an early goal by Nashville SC before substitute Emilio Aristizábal scored deep into injury time to lift TFC to a dramatic 2-1 win on Wednesday at BMO Field.
The victory allowed Toronto (6-7-11) to extend its unbeaten streak to seven games and move up one place to 10th in the Eastern Conference, level on points with New York City FC who hold down the ninth and final playoff berth with 10 games remaining in the regular season.
"I feel very happy because it was a great win for the team, and we were fighting really hard to get the win. We had a great opponent in front of us. They are at the top in the league and in the Eastern Conference, so we have to play really hard. And I was happy to contribute with a goal,"Aristizábal said through a translator
