The Swiss-born midfielder has join Toronto FC on a season-long loan (with a purchase option) from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama.
It's still early, but the Canadian international has failed to impress since coming to MLS and might benefit from a positional change.
The Canadian women's team plays its first home game under Casey Stoney when it hosts Argentina in Vancouver on Friday.
