Toronto FC lost its second game in a row – after going unbeaten in seven straight games – in a 3-1 defeat away to St. Louis City SC on Saturday.

TFC remains in 12th place in the Eastern Conference, three spots and four points below the playoff line, with eight games remaining in the regular season.

Reporter James Grossi, who also operates the Unattached FC website, spoke to TFC Republic about Toronto's performance in St. Louis, Josh Sargent's homecoming and more.
