ST. LOUIS – Toronto FC is the latest team to to be cut down to size by the buzz saw that is St. Louis City SC.
TFC came out on the wrong end of a 3-1 loss to St. Louis at Energizer Park on Saturday, a final scoreline that made it seem like things were closer than they actually were on the night.
Toronto's late consolation goal shouldn't disguise the fact it was outclassed by some distance by St. Louis, who is now unbeaten in 16 MLS matches (18 in all competitions) and hasn't lost since May 3.
