  • Toronto FC 1 (Gibbs OG 62’), Inter Miami 3 (Pizarro 15’, 48’; Robinson 35’)
  • TFC has just 1 win and 7 points in their last 9 matches
  • 17 games in a row without a clean sheet for the Reds

Toronto FC is still mathematically alive in the MLS playoff race, but truth be told, it would be lucky to win another game this season with the way it’s playing at the moment.

A lifeless TFC lost their third game in a row on Saturday night, coming out on the wrong end of a 3-1 decision to Inter Miami at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

TFC (3-12-6) are now winless in six matches - with four losses - and remains last in the Supporters’ Shield and Eastern Conference standings. With 13 games remaining in the campaign, TFC are seven spots and 12 points behind D.C. United, who hold down the seventh and final playoff berth in the East. But you can forget about the post-season. At this point, guys on the roster are playing for their jobs next year.
