TFC Flashback: Reds set MLS single season points record

In this special video blog series for TFC Republic, I look back at key moments in the history of Toronto FC. Last week, I revisited the Reds' 5-0 playoff win over NYCFC at Yankee Stadium in 2016.

This week: TFC's 2-2 draw away to Atlanta United FC to set the MLS single season points record in 2017.

Toronto FC entered its 2017 regular season finale away to Atlanta United FC with 68 points and having already sewn up the Supporters' Shield. They also had a chance to make history in Georgia, and eclipse the MLS single season points record set by the LA Galaxy (68 points) in 1998.

Before a record crowd of 71,874 spectators at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, TFC closed out the campaign with a 2-2 draw in Atlanta to beat the mark established by the Galaxy.
