Somewhat lost amidst the news about Toronto FC's signing of Lorenzo Insigne has been the departure of Richie Laryea.
The MLS club announced last weekend that it had sold the Canadian defender to English Championship side Nottingham Forest.
Laryea, a 27-year-old native of Toronto, leaves MLS after three solid seasons with TFC in which he firmly established himself as one of the club's most consistent and dynamic attacking players.
