Toronto FC vs. New York Red Bulls: 3 takeaways

A 0-0 draw at home was a good result for a short-handed TFC, but the game was also there for the taking by Bob Bradley's side.

Toronto FC vs. New York Red Bulls: 3 takeaways

A severely under-manned Toronto FC put in a decent effort against the New York Red Bulls at BMO Field on Wednesday night, but had to settle for a share of the points in a 0-0 draw.

Incredibly, 11 players were out injured or suspended for the match: captain Michael Bradley and fellow midfielders Jonathan Osorio, Mark-Anthony Kaye, Víctor Vázquez, Alonso Coello; centre backs Matt Hedges, Sigurd Rosted, Shane O'Neil; forwards Adama Diomande Jordan Perruzza; and winger Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty.

TFC (2-4-7) have just one victory in its last 10 contests in all competitions – winless in three in MLS – and remain rooted to the very bottom of the Eastern Conference table.

In the latest video blog, I give my three takeaways from Toronto's home draw vs. New York.
